Here we are at the start of the 2017 year. Where will your AVID Road take you? For our seniors, this is an all-too-real question that we will tackle immediately using our senior passports and completing FAFSA, college apps, and life after Schurz experiences. I will be leaning on you to set the example and help our new senior seminar students find their paths.

For our new 9th AVID students, you are now a member of a unique group at Schurz who aspired to make their college dreams a reality…and actually did! Now you may be asking yourself, “how does that happen?” Check out this video for a glimpse of what AVID can do for you if you have individual determination.
